TOUR RECORDS 2016
In 2016 the tours we ran visited places as far apart as the remote Shiretoko Peninsula, jutting out into the Okhotsk Sea adjacent to Russia to the north of Hokkaido, to the Yaeyama Islands, some of southernmost islands in Japan - Iriomote, Taketomi, Ishigaki, and Miyakojima. Closer to Taiwan than Tokyo!
Some of the images of the beautiful places we found can be found in the gallery on our Smug Mug pages.
The pilgrimage tours we run as a land operator with our Canadian, Dutch and US partner were again very successful, and continue to grow in popularity with new itineraries being added, whilst the Imperial Pilgrimage Route led by Ryoko was brilliant. The autumn colour in 2016 was unforgettable.
Our clients were generous in their praise.
‘The tour was fantastic, one of the best experiences of my life. I have nothing but high praise for Ryoko and how the trip was organized.'
‘Many thanks for organising a great holiday and making sure we saw everything we asked for and getting us to all the places we requested. Plus organising plenty of other adventures and experiences.
We thought that everything worked very well and we got to see and experience a huge amount that would have been impossible to do on our own. Definitely 10 out of 10 plus.'
